Quicken loans, Rocket Mortgage, & built for zero

 

Quicken Loans and Rocket mortgage wanted to highlight the work they do with Built for Zero, a collective of communities working together to end homelessness. They wanted a fully animated piece. I was responsible for mood boards, style frames, and storyboarding as well as acting as liaison between the director and the animation studio. Due to both client notes and studio draw overs, my boards changed many times over. The final storyboards are below:

 

Here are the mood boards and style frames I made at the beginning of the project. At this stage, the script wasn’t finished but we knew the direction we were headed. These boards were to help the director and I talk through our ideas with both Rocket Mortgage and the animation studio.

 

This project lasted months. The script changed several times and there was a lot of back and forth between both the client and the animation studio. This meant a lot of boards were made. To see how the project changed, here are some of the first storyboards:
